What is a disability claim?
A disability claim is the name for the process you use to apply for disability payments from insurance companies, employers and government programs. You submit an application with supporting documents to prove that you meet the requirements for payment under the insurance policy, plan or program.
The benefits provider appoints a claim representative who reviews your information and decides to approve or deny your claim. If they deny your claim, you have the opportunity to appeal the decision. You will have one or more appeals that end with a final hearing to decide your case.
We represent clients in navigating the disability claim claims process. This includes representing clients in applications, appeals, hearings, and lawsuits.
